Liza Perez
Director of Workforce Dev. and Continuing Ed.
Liza has been working with Ë®¹ûÅÉ in various capacities since 2005, beginning her career as a Beacon Director in the Williamsbridge and Baychester communities, then running Boys & Girls Club programming and day camps in Long Island, Staten Island and Harriman, NY. Since 2016, she has been the leader of Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s workforce development department, providing educational and employment services for young adults ages 14-24 in the form of SYEP, NDA Opportunity Youth and Adult literacy, Train & Earn, Learn & Earn, Advance & Earn, and other corporate and state-funded initiatives. Liza is a graduate of SUNY Empire State College, where she holds both a Master Degree in Community and Economic Development and Bachelor Degree in Community and Human Services. Liza resides in the Bronx with her family and enjoys reading, entertaining, traveling, and yoga.
